Hi, I am using Mnemosyne to learn Thai. I have been loading the database using my course chapters as categories.
But what I realised I was doing was looking at the category first and then the question. I could tell from the category how I should be able to answer the question (earlier chapters more easily) and also the chapters can be subject specific so could often get an idea of the subject before reading or listening to the question. I've now removed all the categories (except for cards from chapters I'm not ready to study yet) and it is far better. I notice myself looking for the category so it was a necessary thing to do.
