In fact these are two-sided cards (during learning mode Pronuncation &
Translation are on one side of the card), and as I mentioned earlier
when I add a new card the vice-versa card is added automatically to
the deck and all I try to do is to switch this default behaviour off.

In my Mac 1.2.1 version there is no option to switch between 2-sided
or 3-sided cards.
