It will probably be post-2.0. Can I ask you, what is your main use for exporting? BTW, for 2.x, I plan to get rid of the XML export of the entire database for backup and power-users postprocessing reasons, and I only plan to support the equivalent of 'Reset learning data' in order to share cards with other people. Contrary to 1.x's pickle format, in 2.x, data is stored in an sqlite database, and there are plenty of external tools and languages to manipulate this data.
