Hi,

The standard way to do this is indeed copying c:\Users\*My name*\.mnemosyne 
from PC 1 to c:\Users\*My name*\.mnemosyne on PC2. However, if the last mem 
file you opened is in a non-standard location, there could indeed be some 
confusion.

Have a search for all the mem files that are on your computers (both your old 
and your new PC!). In all likelihood there are multiple mem files and one of 
the machines uses a version you did not expect.
