If I go to 'Spotlight' and search for Plugins —> click on All after a short wait; choose 'File Name' rather than 'Contents' — I get Plugin folders in System areas; also in some application folders. I think my Mnemosyne on Mac has its Plugin folder in the Mnemosyne app folder. But NO, that's a copy.
