I have 71 categories and I go through them separately, because I found that otherwise I got completely disoriented with every new card. Here are my numbers of categories, where numbers in parentheses are numbers of cards:
54 (2809): Chess 50 (1961): Individual chess openings (27 as White, 23 as Black) 4 (848): Exercises from various chess books 1 (1946): Esperanto vocabulary 7 (402): Go (exercises from different books; I actually go through these categories as a unit) 5 (138): Chess openings that I don't play anymore but don't want to forget 1 (92): Hiragana 1 (44): Katakana (incomplete) 1 (42): English vocabulary (this project kind of stalled) 1 (28): Chinese Go terms Maybe I'll try going back to interleaving for a week or two to see how it feels now. I already occasionally combine categories on a small scale (e.g., combining my 14 categories for the White side of the Open Sicilian). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "mnemosyne-proj-users" group.
