As long as it's not packaged by a distro, running 2.0 will be a bit 
complicated technology wise, and even slightly more at the moment, since there 
is not yet a complete source package.

The procedure will become a little bit simpler once I release a source 
package, but you will still need to install all the dependencies yourself.

2.0 has a built-in sync protocol precisely for those scenarios, which is much 
more effecient than dropbox because it does not need to sync the entire 
database each time. 

Pick one of your machines as a server (typically the one that is on most of 
the time), enable sync server in 'configure mnemosyne'. Then, in each of the 
other machines, choose 'file - sync' to connect to that server.
