True, but then you'd have to determine which application to send the image to, 
and that's not easy to do in a platform independent way...

This seems like a bug in webkit. I've tried the html that mnemosyne generates 
in firefox, and there it works ok.

Perhaps we're talking about different things here, but when I start typing in 
the tag box, after a few characters it autocompletes to a know tag.
