I just upgraded from v1.2.2 to v2. I did this by uninstalling the old version then installing the new. The installation found my old card deck located on a separate data partition, converted it to the new format, and placed it in my Win 7 User profile (impressive!). It also copied associated maps to the media folder there. I ran Mnemosyne and everything displayed beautifully.
After closing Mnemosyne, I _copied_ the converted deck to my data partition. I restarted the Mnemosyne and opened the deck in its new location. Not surprisingly, it did not display any maps. I closed Mnemosyne, _copied_ the media folder from my User profile to the data partition, and restarted Mnemosyne. The maps still do not display on cards. I then went back and opened the original converted deck _still left_ in my User profile. Surprise -- maps do not display. I can start over with v1.2.2 by restoring a system image.
