In case this helps someone else: On my new computer I downloaded the Mnemosyne program fine. But I was unable to get my .mnemosyne directory transferred from my USB (which has worked just fine going between my old computer and my mini-laptop for travel.) But, when I opened Mnemosyne on my new computer after copying the directory file there were still 0 cards. I tried a couple of times. And I checked and noticed that there was no .mnemosyne file on the new computer. I guess only the program downloads? So, I opened the program which showed 0 cards and created 1 card and that created a .mnwmosyne file in C:/D&S/ username/.mnemosyne! YEA. Then, I tried again with the USB copying the directory file to the new computer and it worked! All the cards are there. A couple of questions did puzzle me during the copying - the ones asking if I wanted to copy and replace or copy and not replace or ?????. I think in each case I just replaced. Must have been OK because it worked. Thanks so much for a great great program! Karen
