I'd say, enjoy these betas while they last, because the next milestone will
probably be Release Candidate 1 :-)

----

Changelog:

-Allow initial binary sync of client database to empty server database.
-Fix corner case bugs when syncing an empty database twice.
-Fix some bugs in cloze card type (reported by Roel De Conick, Dougie Nisbet,
Scott Youngman).
-Make calculation of the stats of the past schedule more robust.
-Changed the way the upgrade protocol from 1.x works. Now, all all media files
are copied over to the new directory, not just those that are explicitly
referenced in the cards. This will make it easier for the user to fix broken
paths (requested by Gwern Branwen).
-Various minor tweaks to sync protocol.
-Added infrastructure to make it easier to script Mnemosyne using a python
script.
-Reduce database size.
-API improvements for render chain and debug logging (Tim Bourke).
-Added 'File - Compact' to compact the database and delete unused media files.
-Don't substitute < with < inside latex commands (reported by Estevo).
-Rework sound handling, better support for multiple sound files per card.
Unfortunately, due to a Qt bug, this only works on Linux so far.
-Bug fix for upgrading from Mnemosyne 1.x on Windows with non-latin characters
in login name.
-Updated German translation by Stephan Maseizik.
-Make makefiles more robust (contributed by Sam. S).
-When resizing the review window, update split between question and answer as
needed.
-Tweak map card type to reduce flicker.
-In the 'Add cards' dialog, previously entered data was sometimes discarded
when switching card types.
-Bring back 'Copy' in right click menu of question and answer (reported by
Murray James Morrison).
-When there is not enough space to show both the question and the answer,
make sure the answer gets all the space it can get, as opposed to a
proportional split between question and answer (requested by Murray
James Morrison, Gnome, Dougie Nisbet).
-Add tooltips for grades in 'Add cards' (reported by Gnome).
-Statistics now consistenly deal with full database (reported by Dan Schmidt).
