Perhaps it's easier if you just 'officially' install through 'make install-
system'.

Note that in that case dot_mnemosyne2 is not used to store your data, but 
~/.config/mnemosyne for config, config.py and machine.id, and 
~/.local/share/mnemosyne for all the rest.
