I have been using flash-card sw for many years. A problem when
learning something new is that initially it may be hard to understand
the relative importance of learning items (flashcards): I am just
really eager to learn it all and add all sorts of learning-items ;-)

After a some time I may realise that too much of my learning-time is
consumed by stuff I really should postpone for a while (until
foundation and context is in place). With Mnemosyne 2.0 I just Edit
(Ctrl-E) the less-important card, Shift-Tab (to edit "Tags") and add
"_p2" (for "priority 2" to the cards tag. Done in a second.

All my tags may then have two (or more!) "levels". It allows me to
prioritise time to strengthen my foundation learning and build solid
context before including the lower priority (more difficult) items in
daily sessions. When I am ready I simply inclue also the "_p2" in
daily schedule.

Good architecture Peter!
