Sorry for the long delay in response.

Other people have reported success with this file on Nokia phones:
    http://www.tbrk.org/distfiles/mnemojojo.jar

But it just contains the patch we already discussed, i.e., adding a
Main-Class field MANIFEST.MF.

I wonder whether you would mind trying it again?

In any case, thank you for the URLs in your original email. They have
helped to get Mnemojojo working on a few more phones.
