Peter, you asked "Are the crashes that frequent that it prevents you from
studying at all?"

I've been keeping track for a week using the latest release. The *average*range
is 10 to 25 cards at a time before it hangs, then restart as many
times as necessary to finish the day's reviews. But sometimes it gets stuck
repeatedly on the same card, and I can't get past it even with multiple
restarts. Yesterday, for example, it showed one card (A, with multiple
cloze elements) successfully then hung on the second card (B, also with
multiple cloze elements) -- the same two individual cards for a total of 15
hangs. I couldn't get past it so there was no progress for the day. Today
the same two cards hung, but it got past the blockage after the first
restart. After another four cards, it again hung repeatedly on a different
pair. So my progress for two days is six cards. (It is probably a
coincidence, but the two cards involved now are sister cards of A and B,
likewise in that order.) Overall, this is roughly the same as the problem
which began in about beta 10.

By the way, when Mnemosyne hangs I can't switch to another program or the
desktop. I can force the program to shutdown by clicking repeatedly on the
X icon, after which I regain control of the computer. (Win7 x64)
