As far as I can see, the hanging issues only affect a handful of people, and the majority does not have any problems whatsoever.

I do agree that fixing this issue is absolute top priority though.

That, and the ubiquity of plugins, which to be fair I
haven't looked at in a while, so may well be solved already.

FastFormat, MnemoGogo and Gogorender have been ported, and the functionality of many of them has been taken over by the core of Mnemosyne 2.0.

Which ones do you need?
