Yes, pay attention to the sequence of dialogue boxes you see, because when
it freezes, the last statement executed might provide a clue which will
help to discover the true cause of the problem.
Possibly appending each statement to a log file before execution would be
easier to deal with, since then you could just paste the last few lines
here after Mnemosyne hangs...
