It would be worth while, from my point of view:  to have a list of graphic 
formats that can be readily supported, long term, in Mnemosyne 2.x Mac.  
Together with properties that would be available:  Eg.  B&W;   8, 16, 64, 256 
up to millions of colours;  range of compression available...

A similar list of video formats available would help  OR  how to script a live 
link from a card field.
