Hi,
We're still in the process of converting the old 1.x xml files on our
old website to the new 2.x cards format, where you don't need to worry
about images paths.
The easiest way would be for your friend to upgrade to Mnemosyne 2.x,
and then export his cards using the 'cards' format.
If that is not possible, you have to manually copy the images to the
correct directory.
If your cards contain images like src="foo/bar.png", you need to copy
the image to ~/Library/Mnemosyne/default.db_media/foo/bar.png.
Cheers,
Peter
