Hi,

-Make sure only the cards you want to export are active.
-Choose 'export cards' and then the Mnemosyne 2.x cards format
-give this file to your friend, either by sharing it on our website, emailing it, passing a usb key, ...
-your friend can import these cards in his Mnemosyne install.
-if he makes changes, he can export these cards and then you can reimport them to see the changes

Hope this helps,

Peter

I came across this:
Mnemosyne 2.1 : 2012-09-10

1. New import/export format to share cards, ...
Supports importing an updated version of the same exported cards, so that authors can release updated versions of their cards fixing e.g. spelling mistakes.

2. Will this option allow me to work with my friend on the same Deck of cards?
I'm new to Mnemosyne and not computer savvy.
Can someone outline the major steps of this process, please?
Windows Xp. Mnemosyne ver-2.1
---- PS.
3. In another post, Peter said "...sending Database to your friend was not a good idea , as your friend would start from your learning history." Can I actually SEND my Database as oppose to sharing cards on M-syne website (which, I assume, would remove the Learning history)?
4. Related bit of info: Peter said "Please send me the cards file too"
Is this done thru e-mail attachement ?
5...if Yes, what steps the recipient has to take, besides downloading Mnemosyne?

   Thank you for your help..
