I make the Question field narrow (vertically) so I can see only ONE line at a
time. It allows me to 'guess'
a)the Word meanings
b)the answers to a FEW sample sentences,one at a time; Like this:

Sample-1 Israeli attack on Iran would present US with the most vexing
situation
Sample-2 vexing issue of waste.
Sample-3 vexing issue is ...
...not easily solved.
Sample-4 how vexing!
answer: какая досада!

Would be VERY helpful to use the Key instead of Mouse and the Sliding Bar.
