This tip is based on version 2.2a which I am using for vocabulary.
As the size of the database grows, and the number of tags grows, there are
times when I want to review just the words that I have not learned well. But,
with a large data base, these words may be spread out among various independent
tagged groups. The review of just those words not learned well can be done
quite easily as follows:

1. Go to cards/browse cards.
2. Select the tags and card types you wish to be included. For example, all
tags and all card types. (Note that some columns in the display may have
entries that have a line through them. This is a function of which cards and
tags you have activated/deactivated using the (De)activate cards choice. The
lines do not impact this tip.)
2. Click on the column heading "Grade". This will display the cards sorted by
grade.
3. Drag to select the set of cards that you want to study. For example, all
cards with grades 0 through 2. (If you wanted to select cards that are not
contiguous, these can be selected in typical Windows fashion by using the
control key in conjunction with dragging.)
4. Move your cursor to be within the selected cards, right click, and choose
"Add tags".
5. Enter the new tag in the box that comes up.
6. Exit from the browse cards screeen. Go to cards/(De)activate cards.Your
designated cards will now show as an added group of tagged cards and can be
activated/deactivated as with any other tag.
7. This new group can be studied in the usual mode or in the cram mode.
8. The group is easily deleted later by going to cards/(De)activate cards,
right clicking on the tag, and choosing delete. Since this is an added tag, the
cards will have other tags. The tag is deleted but not the card.

This is all done using the features provided within the program. But it took me
a while to realize this could be done. I find it a very handy way to review
words that I had not learned well across multiple tagged groups. I hope that
you will find this useful.
