A question regarding differences between starting modes: I noticed that there is a difference in behavior between starting Mnemosyne via USB-Stick (or Dropbox) on the one side, and starting it from my Desktop on the other side. If i start Mnemosyne on my desktop it shows always the last card exactly where i stopped during my last session. However, if i start Mnemosyne from a USB-Stick or via Dropbox, it seems to pick a card at random (but apparently still consistent with my learning progress). I ask myself what is the reason for this behavior? (I prefer the behavior of starting M. from my desktop.)
