I really recommend upgrading to 2.2a, otherwise you will get the problem again in the future.
The upgrade should work out of the box, but if you run e.g. Mnemosyne from a USB key or a non-standard location, you might need to explicitly do a 'file - open' to open the correct database.
one more question: how can I safe the acivated cards including learning data (my computer may brake down sometime..)? The format .cards ain`t support this option?
