That helped. I was just trying to give all comments a green color.
This is what i have right now:
Text: //this is a comment.
match replacement

\/\/\s?(.*?[^\\])(<br>|$) <font color="green">// \1</font>
\/\/\s?(.*)(<br>|$) -----doesn't seem to work.
