Hi,

Did you use 'import' to try and import the "*.cards" file?

I'll add a clearer error message in the next version to make sure people don't try to open a '*.cards" file as a database.

Today I attempted a first card file download into Mnemosyne 2.2.1. The
file selected was a Spanish vocabulary file that consistently returned
the message: Database Error: file is encrypted or is not a database. I
did take a screenshot of the error message, but I'll not upload it here
without some indication of interest in solving the problem. Thanks for
reading. -- KM
