I assume you're looking in the wrong place, which is probably why deleting the config did not work.

I forgot you're on a USB key, so make sure to look there, as well as in any folder named 'backups' you can find on any of your drives.

I got it to open, but it reverted back to a much older 'history' of my database.

I think you mentioned that Mnemosyne automatically creates backups. In my 'backups' folder, however, the latest backup I have is from Feb 2013. Am I looking in the wrong folder?
