So I've learned under "Browse Cards" how to select only the cards you want to change (i.e. the ones that have the erroneous assignment), then do "Change card type". That gets around the problem I was having before with the arbitrary assignment of card types. But in an ideal world this step shouldn't be necessary. I think I'm finally getting to grips with this program.
