An update after checking out the server. Seems like the same problem happens there, but the newly added cards on my client that was invisible there is available on the server. New cards added to the category on the server in invisible, just like on the client.
Deleting the wrong tag(s) and adding another tag to the card seems to be doing the trick so far.
