Hi,

It’s not that Mnemosyne does not like long not-sync stretches, but there must
have been a conflict where you reviewed the same card on the 2 devices at some
point.

Next time, pay close attention when you pick which database you want to keep ☺

Cheers,

Peter

Subject: Re: [mnemosyne-proj-users] sync conflict

Hi, thanks for your reply.
It wasn't just as easy as that, but I managed after renaming the backup db,
uninstalling and reinstalling the app. And finally upgrading the desktop
version.
Any ideas how to avoid running into the initial problem again?
Seems mnemosyne doesn't like long stretches of not being synced?
Well, everything is fine now.
Thanks for a great piece of software
regards
Uschi

Hi,
I've been using Mnemosyne on Android and Windows 7 without any problems until
today. I used to sync quite frequently and
never touched the desktop version without syncing with my phone first and then
syncing immediately after changes on my desktop.
However, I hadn't synced since January and when syncing today I got a conflict
message on my phone and had the choice to fetch the remote db,
which I did without thinking about it.
Result: before the sync my app told me that I had to review 51 cards, after the
sync it told me 1149 cards are scheduled.
Could I just copy my backup file from yesterday from the phone to the desktop
version?
Or is there another way to solve this dilemma?
Regards
Uschi
