Glad it worked, although I advise you reduce these 18 hours ☺

Hey Peter. Peace. Thank you for your post I had figured out what I was doing
wrong last night and it worked. You also verified the answer in your post
below. I had not re-started Mnemosyme. So, last night on a hunch I did and it
worked! Thank you sooooo much. I feel so happy. I work on these cards almost
18 hours a day.  So, I rarely restart it.  Bless to you for being so committed;
especially toward those of us who become desperate for an answer. Kudos!

Hi,

Uninstalling and reinstalling is a good idea (this will keep your data intact).

Normally, the change should take effect immediately after you restart Mnemosyne.

Cheers,

Peter

Hi Peter,

I had checked this previously thining the am and pm may have been wrong on the
clock, but it looks fine. I notice that the log.txt file seems to disappear.
So I add another one. Do you think I should re-install it? Actually I changed
it from 3 to 6, then from 6 to 10, not that this should make a difference. How
long does it take for the change to take effect please? I will try 9 and see
if that works. Thank you for your response.

Hmm, I don’t see any reason why it would work when you change the setting from
3 to 6, but not from 3 to 10.

Are you sure the clock on your PC is fine?

Cheers,

Peter

I am still having problems with config. with the clock. I have waited two days
to see if it would resolve and it has not The problem is that when I go to the
config.py file to switch the time, it does not seem to work, or I must be doing
something wrong. I would like my next day to start at 10:00 am. So I switched
the time from 3 to 10. when I am up at 4:00 am it had not switched, but when
I wake up at 7:30 AM it already switched to a new day. Several days ago I had
it switched to 6:00 am and it worked fine. Here is an image. Thank you. God
bless
