Hi Peter, Well, I wasn't clear enough. I started using Mnemosyne on Ubuntu, but now I'm working on Windows, which seems to make it far more complicated.
If there's lot of fiddling with Windows, I think I'd better get Ubuntu installed on my old computer, do it there and re-export data back to Windows.
