Hi,

You need to make sure miktex is properly installed so that if you open a 
terminal window and type 'latex' it finds the executable.

You can also have a look at latex_out.txt and tmp.log in a directory like 
C:\users\artus\appdata\roaming\Mnemosyne\default.db_media\_latex
to see if that gives useful information.
