the recent release of Mnemosyne seems to be buggy. Try the prerelease version 
of Mnemosyne. I've had a similar problem too, but when I use the prerelease 
version, I can import and export cards like before. The syncing with my cell 
phone still doesn't work.

Or else, if you want to have your previous working version of Mnemosyne, you 
can download it from Sourceforge. Make sure to  uninstall Mnemosyne from your 
PC and cell phone before you install the old version (uninstalling will not 
delete your data, don't worry!).

Before you try the above, search for the backups Mnemosyne automatically 
creates. Just search for a folder called Mnemosyne, which contains the file 
"default.db" (I don't remember the exact location). If this folder exists 
either on your phone or PC you should be able to restore your cards and 
statistics.
