Hi, Peter, Thank You for your kind follow-up. I have done as you suggested. It took me some time, as I didn't even know what an apk file is. But I really learned a lot, and it worked. Even the troublesome 1.3.1 behaves well after the cure. So tomorrow morning will show, I think. A part of this problem may have been that my table-top still was running version 2.4.
