Hi, If you finish the scheduled cards, Mnemosyne will start showing you cards which you haven’t memorised before, and these will shown until you grade them 2 or higher.
Perhaps in your case you didn’t have any new cards to study in your deck, and you pressed ‘learned ahead of schedule’? As the program warns, that’s not a good option. If you really want to overlearn, it’s best to use the cramming scheduler. I recently did cards for about an hour and I would get the same card 10 times, even if I gave it a 5, and I would not see cards that I much more badly needed to review.
