Hi,

If you put the sound file in the ‘pronunciation’ field, Mnemosyne will detect
that the Foreign Word/Expression contains only Arabic, and will display it
correctly RTL.

Cheers,

Peter

and back to front'

Hmm . . . I am confused.

When I copy/paste text from my Arabic source, it will display properly
(R-to-L); and then when I added a soundclip (above the Arabic text) is when it
switched some of the Arabic text to L-to-R.

I just tested a few other cards and added the soundclip below the Arabic text
and it displayed properly.

I still request for each side of a card template, to have the choice of text
direction, to ensure it always displays properly.

Hello.

Thank you.

And how do I select the text direction for both front and back? The Arabic
needs to be R-to-L for the special embedded charachters in this particular
Arabic script/font that are not used in 'Modern Standard Arabic'.

Hi,

Just use (a clone of) the Vocabulary card type, then you can set a dedicated
font for Foreign Word.

Cheers,

Peter

Good Evening.

When formatting the cards, and selecting type of card: 'front to back and back
to front';will it automatically switch the font to be the same?, otherwise the
Arabic will display improperly:

I want it to be:

Original / Front to back
Q: Arial 15 (L-to-R)
A: selected Arabic script (R-to-L)

Duplicate/reversed or Back to Front:

Q: selected Arabic script (R-to-L)
A: Arial 15 (L-to-R)
