Hi, Perhaps unsurprisingly, in our family everyone is using Mnemosyne, so it would certainly work with kids in that age range ☺. They input the paper flashcards they get from school into Mnemosyne, and then use a tablet to review.
This being said, compared to things like e.g. Memrise, Mnemosyne is a lot less flashy and game-y, so the kids would need a certain amount of intrinsic motivation to be able to stick with it. I'm comparing and shortlisted quizlet, supermemo, mnemosyne for 2 projects, one in an Erasmus+/Horizon2020/EIT consortium and one in my kid's school. Anybody who has used Mnemosyne in a Erasmus+/Horizon2020/EIT consortium? I'm helping my kids school in Brussels. We have 12 year old kids who go to our dutch speaking school, but quite some kids have gaps in their knowledge of dutch - they do speak french or english or another language. The way to go to me seems inputting words via computer and learning via their smartphones. Quizlet allows some game-interface to be projected via our electronic boards. What is possible via Mnemosyne?
