Hi, You could try upgrading and/or downgrading the PyQt libraries, but if the problem also occurs with the official Ubuntu Mnemosyne package, I would suggest contacting the Ubuntu developers. (We don’t make distribution-specific packages here).

I then built Mnemosyne according to the README instructions on Ubuntu and although I can see the options tab with the icons (the one that has the options "Add cards" etc.), the one above it, where I can install plugins etc. doesn't show up.
