Thanks for the info.
I am using latest versions of both phone App and the desktop app (Mac and
 Windows version).
App is freshly installed, never been synced before
Phone is active (Xiaomi and Samsung)
Desktop can ping the phone. Occasional packet drops out, but address is
reachable
Firewall and Antivirus were down

Error was either
- Socket error Errno 110: Connection timed out (After a longer period of
triynfg to connect)
- Socket error Errno 111: Connection refused (immediatelly after sync
was attepmted)
