I have something (I think) strange going on.  I reported a couple of months
ago the same problem mentioned below with the three dot icon leading to
Sync not being visible.  As of about 10 days ago, with no new version of
Mnemosyne installed, and no changes to my configuration, now it works
perfectly and consistently.  Could there be some kind of, at least
implicit, counting going on such that after so many repetitions something
changes?
