I had a similar problem to Hugo Coolens, after trying to change the font on all cards to FIXEDSYS; Startup went immediately to a long error screen.
Tried re-naming config.db, which lets the program start, but nearly all my cards are missing. I have a couple of backups, but can see no way to bring them into use.
