Hi,
I've seen and am aware of the docs issues posted on Google Code, but I've
been so
busy with a thousand other changes to the Guides these last two weeks that
I haven't
had a chance to get back to them.
The JAIN SLEE Server Guide has been updated quite a lot recently, and the
most recent
version--which contains numerous changes--is the one that will be released
with JBCP.
If you look at those (JBCP-branded) docs, you'll see a number of changes.
"Setting JBOSS_HOME" completely rewritten, parameterized for all servers and
platforms. (there is one unfortunate mistake in the JBCP-built docs due to
not
knowing what the JBCP build looked like--fixed now).
This morning I wrote, from scratch, a starter "Deploying Resource Adapters
with the
MMC" section. This section needs to be beefed up to show the other ways to
Deploy RAs
besides the MMC, but at least the info is there. New step-by-step
screenshots included.
I can remove the "Stopping the Server by Issuing a Control Code." I assume
this
applies to *all* servers running on JBoss, and so I'll remove that part
from all of them.
Agree that the info for individual RAs needs to be integrated. I'll write a
proposal
detailing an easy way to help get content into the Guides and post it to
mobicents-core.
Likewise, a section on the "JBoss ON Plugin" could easily be integrated
this way.
This week, the main priorities are:
1) Going through the SSS, MMS and SPS Guides and making sure they refer
correctly to
either "Mobicents" or "JBCP" based on which target (mobicents release, jbcp
release)
they are being built for.
2) Working with Luis on the scripts that automate the building of the docs
for any
release.
That's the status on this at the moment.
