Hm, weird. You can enable the 'Sync' logging keyword [see the wiki for info on 
logging] and then look through the logs to see if multiple CBLPuller instances 
are running. Look for messages like
        CBLPuller[http:/...] STARTING
and
        CBLPuller[http:/...] Checkpointing sequence=...
