Eric La fortune have found the problem!
The "proguard/dexguard" manifest merger was removing the
META-INF/services/com.couchbase.lite.storage.SQLiteStorageEngine from the
final apk meaning that this service wouldn't be available. Eric is going to
solve the problem.
