This is caused by the *fix* <https://github.com/couchbase/couchbase-lite-ios/pull/1919> to reduce memory usage during the pull replicator. The fix applies the pause logic to gradually load changes instead of loading all at once. It is possible that this could cause the performance degraded. I have created https://github.com/couchbase/couchbase-lite-ios/issues/1980 to track the issue.
