Hi Michael, thanks for the heads up! Both bugs will be fixed by bug 918007. We'll disable all toolbar elements while in editing mode on tablets. Patch coming soon.
I closed both bugs as WONTFIX just to avoid confusion. Feel free to re-open if you think there's something in these bugs that is not covered by bug 918007.
