Hi folks, I just pushed a patch to fx-team to enable the search activity [1][2] on Nightly builds. Try it out and let us know what you think! We're using bug 1017135 as a meta bug for the first version of this feature, so please file bugs against that (and check there for known issues).
We are still iterating on the design, so be prepared to see some changes over the coming weeks. We do not plan to let this feature ride the release trains just yet, so don't be worried if things seem rough around the edges :) Thanks!
