That is a fantastic idea!
It is much more likely to be a success/hit in the market than replacing
my phone's OS. Because installation is easy, you probably don't even
need root.
Many app launchers have very basic functionality, so it's not much of a
loss to replace them.
You give all the benefits of Firefox OS: the home screen, the search,
the web apps, the market place, and (most importantly) the browser.
I think you just hit oil, as far as Firefox OS is concerned!
