SourceDNA is a static analysis tool for Android apps that looks interesting. Like Coverity, they run the analysis on their servers and you must login to see the results. They have free and paid versions. They analyze apps from the Play Store, so they already have analysis data for Firefox. Here are example reports for Firefox and the HBO Go app for one issue: an OpenSSL crash in Android M.
